Bio-Optronics announced Wednesday the appointment of Michael Barrett as the company's Vice President and Business Development Director.
In addition to fulfilling a role as a key strategic manager for the healthcare workflow technology provider,
Michael will also manage the company's sales and business development initiatives and departments.
Michael
comes to Bio following a very successful and diverse career at the Eastman Kodak Company. During his career at Kodak,
he held many executive leadership positions within multiple divisions. He served as the General Manager for the global
Micrographics division, as well as recently holding that same title for the global Radiology Film Systems business within
the Kodak Health Imaging Group.
Most recently, Michael held the position of General Manager for North American Sales and
Service, Medical Imaging, for Carestream Health Inc., a privately-owned company formed by the divestiture of the Kodak
Health Group in 2007. Michael has a strong track record building high performance sales teams, designing and implementing
mutually-beneficial partner programs, and cultivating strong relationships with large healthcare buying consortiums,
such as Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO).
Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from St. John
Fisher College, as well as an MBA from The William E. Simon School at the University of Rochester.

Clinical Conductor Introduces Enhanced Survey Module
Clinical Conductor Site CTMS customers can now save even more time and
money with a brand new optional Enhanced Survey Module. This unique technology
allows clinicians to create configurable e-surveys to replace time-consuming
telephone visits. The system can then automatically send patients links to
interactive e-surveys and can even automatically drop patients from studies
after a specified number of failed attempts to contact. Once the surveys are
completed, the data is easily accessible via on-screen reports or Excel files.
The Enhanced Survey Module does it all with the distinctive Clinical Conductor
power and convenience.
To attend a web demonstration, learn more about the benefits and pricing, or to
schedule a personal demonstration, please contact your Clinical Conductor
Account Manager by telephone at 877-279-8377, Option 1 or by
emailing us.
